Amy is the cutest little clown - a mix of terrier and something that has BIG ears.  She is 50 pounds of wiggles, love and snuggles.  She is too cute – very loving, very playful and good with other dogs when introduced properly.

Amy is aging gracefully, but just like us, she has a little arthritis and sometimes has a little limp.  She can still run like the wind and jump fences at will.
She still has plenty of playful energy, but she really loves to get in your lap!  Her coat is beautiful - she looks like a yellow/tan tiger. She walks on leash, but needs more practice to stop her urge to pull!

Amy is crate-trained and about 90% housebroken, spayed and up-to-date on her shots. She still thinks she's a youngster and she can also jump/climb a 6 foot fence or kennel area so she needs to be an inside dog with a zip line for short stays outside or she will need to be trained to an underground fence.  She will do well with a forever family that will take on her on walks and spend time playing with her. She is so sweet and adorable, spending time with her is easy to do!

If you think Amy might be the perfect pup for you, please go to
www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Amy picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
